This anime is what I see as my paralysis demon when I try and go to sleep. Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudou Episode 4 made it very clear the CGI is intentional.

I don't even believe it is CGI, but a rotoscope of an actual farm machine and the character's head pasted over the real farmer's head. The animators are having way too much fun.

The animation adds so much to the comedy and whole environment of the series. I found the farm scene so funny because it just looked like they pasted Roy’s face onto actual farmer

Laughed so hard when I saw this. They definitely are doing this on purpose given that the huge fight on the end part of the episode is decent. Can'y even tell if Mitama's magic was even CG or 2D art
