It was a good solid win. There were no INTs, no TOs, and only 2 penalties. Penn State was never in jeopardy of losing. The run game was productive and Allar hit on key throws to a variety of WRs. Clifford is emerging as a 'go-to' guy. Two FGs were made. It was a good day.

Next week is a huge game. Exactly the type of game we struggle in. I'm expecting a loss this time so I don't get my hopes up. They need to prove it.

Did anyone hear Urban Mayer on Big Noon kickoff. He was really obnoxious about PSU: “Penn state has a problem: Michigan and Ohio State.” He made snide remarks about Allar’s passing. But he’s the guy who quit at Florida and got sent packing at Ohio State. Today, Penn State played well without Singleton, and the defense played very well as usual. I think PSU can beat USC but it will be a tough game. With the realignments, many teams could have three loses, at least two.

Ohio State boat races teams like UCLA at home, just about every time. Penn State beats them as well, but it's more of a struggle. Penn State is among the best teams in CFB, but not the best of the best.

No, you said it was going to be a blowout. Don’t change your story. This team is slow to start, as usual, and not very impressive overall. They will be eaten up next week against USC, against OSU, AND Wisc. Franklin is a mediocre coach and this proves it.

not sure what game these guys were watching ... defense gave up 3 points to a decent UCLA team except for garbage time. Defense is the fastest in CFB... not the best but so fast

Receivers and routes with little separation. They need some quick slants and bubble screens. LB play is also suspect where UCLA RBs get 5 to 8 yards in crunch time.
