In earlier raptor tests the flame went blue and only had white in the mach diamonds where the atmosphere pressed the plume together. This test shot a white flame, the same color as the mach diamond except as the entire flow. Wow, that is an indication of how much more energetic the new version is.

Why is this being labeled or hot fire test? It's SpaceX actually indicate that's what it was? Is it an assumption because of the gimbal?

It looks like they are testing for hot staging You would think they would have lit the engine fully gimbaled then brought it back to base a few seconds after. Maybe break increment the testing scope.
