I love how you leave the mistakes in your videos, it shows real life hobby machining as it really is instead of heavily edited videos that show a perfect run every time 👍

I had to laugh about the brush. You patience is amazing. Enjoy your vid immensely.

Best one yet, these are the kind of videos that we who are still just dreaming about a capable CNC can learn from, thanx!

This is like the action drama channel of machining. I feel like I need popcorn for viewing the rollercoaster of nail-biting events. Nice end product though

that brush got me cracking up, nice one ;)

I really have to try out some steel on my cnc aswell, wonder if my DIY build will handle it.
it wont for sure not have torque for large endmills with my 3kw bt30 spindle, but smaller carbide should do fine.. lets see if i can find a project in steel one day :) Wish you a good sunday from Norway :)

I'm also laughing about the brush. Thanks for showing that. Surprised the high feed mill was so problematic as the more I look at them, the better the cut parameters match these kinds of machines, provided you use them in "low/slow feed mode". Wrong cut geometry? Too much DOC? I'm tooling up my own baby mill, mostly to use on softer materials, but was planning on investing into a 10mm indexed high feed mill (ER16 collet) for roughing steel and harder stuff.
