BUILDING A 700HP 335i UNDER $2000

Update:
I made this video back when I was not too educated on the n54 platform. On e85 my car made around 480whp which is about 550hp on the crank. To push the car further you need port injection and a custom tune.

Old description:
The bare minimum performance upgrades needed to build a 700hp 335i n54. It was only possible to get to this power level at this price as I took a risk with no-name turbos and did all the mechanical work myself. My car does close to 700hp on e85 running 28psi. At this boost level, the car is definitely being pushed to its limits.

Besides the parts mentioned downpipes are the only other part required for this build, most 335i already has those installed so I did not bother adding it to the cost. After driving this car for a few months the only other issue I had to address was getting new coil packs.

I'd like to see some dyno numbers. I doubt this car puts down close to 700. Intercooler, charge pipe, diverter valves/bov all would need to be upgraded

If you put in up graded Turbos you will have to use the MHD (or some other type of flashing tool) to get a custom tune which will cost you a minimum of about $300 to $500 just for the custom tune not including the price of the master license MHD software.

I'm pretty sure you're not making 700 horsepower. Probably mid you're not going to make 700 horsepower on just E85. You have to run at least meth injection or port injection or high pressure fuel pump auxiliary unit like the helix or Vargas double barrel unit to get the fuel needed. ... you're definitely not making 700 horsepower with an off-the-shelf ECU tune ...And you have to Max the hell out of those cheap eBay turbos

I guess maintenance doesn't count? You will not find a 335 that doesn't need a grand in maintenance at least. You aren't making 700 on hybrids either, especially ebay turbos. You might be making mid 500. Oh you are talking crank hp lol, who talks crank hp?
