road trip across america on film

This is a little bit of a personal project for me. I wanted to try to tell more of a story, rather than talk to the camera. This is a documentation of our trip from Los Angeles to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, driving two thirds across the country over the course of a week. This is my perspective from the passenger seat.

This video was filmed entirely on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, using the Moment 1.33x Anamorphic lens, Moment Thin iPhone case, and Moment variable ND filters and filter adapter. All footage was shot on Log in the Moment camera app.

Wow, those scenes from the lighthouse and lake were beautiful! Really enjoyed this format. I just got back from my own cross country trip and only shot 35mm and iphone scenes, I'm so excited to go back through it all and put together a short film like this!
