Skin side down or up? Recently I found a YouTube chef that went for the skin down first. I'm certain the skin will be very very crispy.

He used his hands to press the fillet down on the pan. Maybe using the spatula to press down might be a better idea. I feel if you press firm (not too hard) the skin won't snap off the the meat muscles will not curl off. Later cook the sides to burnt even though I prefer mine just top and bottom. Leaving the salmon medium well.

Next oven bake or pan sear? Although oven baked / roasting Oven roasting always does the trick for an effortless cooking meal. While searing resist the urge to fiddle with the fillets as they cook. Letting the fish sear untouched in hot oil creates that lovely, flavorful, golden crust that makes this dish restaurant-worthy.

I have a funny way of oven baked. I will use the flavourful omega 3 fish oil and use as dip or even salad replacing olive 😆

I've been lived alone almost 8 years. It's like in home alone movie in very much smaller house. What a messy part of my life but i felt lucky, i was surrounded by friendly and helpful neighbour.
