I made an amazing living as a professional handyman. The keys to my success were really quite simple. #1 Return every phone call ASAP if you can’t answer immediately. #2 Show up when you promised to be there. #3 If you cannot be somewhere on time as promised, CALL THE CUSTOMER AND LET THEN KNOW! Customers loathe people who fail to show up, but will always cut you slack if you call them ahead to let them know you will be late.

Hey brothers, I want to do the pallet thing. I know where they are, I just need the clients. I figured out who the clients might be, so is it basically cold calling? i did cold calling in college and i was very good at it lol i was selling cruise tickets, and then they got me into selling products, did that as well. So, if it's cold calling i'll do well. Another question is, how do I price this? I'm getting the pallets for free, how much should I quote to the customer per pallet? 2 bucks?

My city dump has a minimum charge of $63 up to 1800 lbs and $70 per ton. Anyone else have a high charge like this?

As long as you stay below 10, 000 lbs you don't really need to have DOT authority, as far as I know, the handy man thing though I think would be different though, cause your not really making money with the truck and trailer
