Scott Adkins is a b-class action movie star and in those movies acting skills are not really required.
Still, he stole the scene here. I didn't expect Adkins to let himself wear prostetics to look like German Kingpin, yet he did. And his acting here is awesome.

I love how nearly all the adversaries & allies alike give the same smirk like they know John’s just THAT good he’ll survive to accomplish the task & keep moving to the next challenge, it’s just a matter of how. These card game to club fight scenes were my favorites of the film & def among top 5 of the entire series.
Imho it’s Something about the “over the top” nature while still being tenuously grounded in (hyper) reality just make it so much more fun than costumed reluctant hero’s flying around blasting magical lasers etc. (and yes I really do like MCU phases 1-3)
