Inside Out 2 is The Most Successful Animated Movie EVER! Or is it?

As of 24 of July, 2024, Inside Out 2 is officially the highest grossing animated film in history. Or at least, that’s what news outlets, Disney, and Pixar claim. It still hasn’t beaten The Lion King 2019 remake yet. But there’s a decent chance that Pixar can even beat that movie when all things are said and done. Regardless, this is a remarkable achievement for Pixar and they should get all the recognition they deserve.

I feel like Inside Out 2 came out at the perfect time. When the first movie came out back in 2015 we were all kids that were close to Riley's age so we could relate to her. Now in 2024, we're all adults we could go back and watch the first one and appreciate it while also now getting to appreciate the second one and understand everything.

I actually looked into The Lion King (2019) remake to see whether it was animated or not. What I actually found out is the director himself which is Jon Favreau said The Lion King (2019) remake is neither live action or animated, and that calling it animated is actually misleading. So factually Inside Out 2 is indeed the #1 highest grossing animated movie of all time. The Lion King (2019) remake is in a league of its own. Congrats to Pixar on their massive success of Inside Out 2! I’ve seen it four times!

But if you did, you may have noticed that Marvel and 20th Century studios (Fox) have add a few Disney cameos, that Ryan Reynolds had add to his movie. 🤭

I think the Mario movie made more money through merchandise and games. merchandise is much more important for every kids movie. And the sales of almost all Mario Switch games went up after the movie was released, even a year later. Nintendo is already working on the sequel and it has a good chance of surpassing Inside Out 2

I liked inside out 2 a lot it’s not as good as shrek 2 sadly but it’s damn close
