Yes! Good to see the shootemups getting a shout! I think you might get the bug if you're not careful. There are some absolute gems out there. If you can tolerate Cuphead and hollow knight, then you're definitely equipped to cope with the shootemups!! Steredenn and Eschatos are 2 that are worth checking out. A lot of the shootemups are often borderline saveloys as well which is awesome! 😎

Can’t recommend Kingdoms of Amalur enough. Combat is amazing and still holds up well for a remake. The lore and art design is insane with the writers/artists they hired (RA Salvatore and Todd McFarlane). Studio collapsed almost immediately after the game came out (hence the rereleases by other companies) but they left one heck of a game behind
