Not really. The show's actually pretty fantastic. The characters are likable. The acting is good. The special effects are pretty fantastic for a TV series. The writing is phenomenal. It's just an all around, great TV show.

what you have to appreciate is the art design on this. It's amazing. And fair play to the bold choice to move the camera rather than it being static in these 3D environments. It isn't photo real, but it works.

Some of the effects look a little off but I'm in it for the story and characters. The acting is also really good (especially from Robert Carlyle).

Many of you obviously have no fucking idea how much work goes into these VFX and the fact that these guys can pull off this quality on a TV SHOW on an extremely strict schedule makes this all the more impressive.

There's so many reasons why I wanna be an actress (I'm taking acting classes in June. So excited!). Not only do I love acting, but with all the physical work that goes into making certain scenes, the 10-30 pound costumes you get to wear, and the 2-5 hours it takes to apply makeup and/or prosthetics, it's both fun and challenging!

You guys also have to remeber that these people on have 3 weeks to work on these special effects. (Like they said in the PaleyFest Panel for OUAT)

As obvious as the effects are sometimes I still love the show.

No, actually. The show's pretty fantastic. Phenomenal writing, amazing character development, fantastic acting, etc. No one's lying to themselves when they say that the show's good.
