Something to add, In Johto, one of the main things was how you could travel into Kanto after you beat the game. If we are comparing Johto and the new region, it would make sense that it is very connected with previous regions.

I really really hope that we can combine the regions one day. I also think that even though Hawaii is confirmed, I think that the things you said about Spain could be integrated in a few ways!

Rage, why do you go for the "Leo" in SOLGALEO and not the "Gale". Seeing that the moon legendary also has wings in it, it wouldn't at all be surprising to me to see two flying legendaries. Incidentally, the only time the two main legendarieswere flying was.... In Johto. That perfectly fits within your theory of the world.

If you looks at the symbols in the logos, you can see that the sun symbol kind of looks like a lion's mane, and the moon symbol definitely looks like some sort of flying creature. Although, I disagree with some of the predictions for the legendaries. The sun legendary should have a mane, but if unlocking its true potential is a point in the game, it could have a much smaller one, possibly in the style of a liager. The moon legendary, however, should keep in a bird-like style. The symbol represents wings rather than gliders, and the ala in it's supposed name seems to put forth with that feature. Other than those, your theory seems very plausible, and the region being parallel to Spain is a very interesting conclusion.

I really want to see some type of owl pokemon. I think it would look really cool and would fit in with the moon flying type legendary theory. For the sun legendary, maybe we'll see some type of mechanical pokemon. Since Galileo is known for various inventions, it could be possible that the team you're trying to defeat in the game is trying to use the pokemon to create some type of machine that would make the region permanent day. This solves the problem with previous theories because while the team trying to make the region permanent night could just block out the sun or destroy it completely, the team trying to make the region permanent night would have to create something in order to accomplish their goal.

I really think you hit the nail on the Spain theory, but the fact that the legendaries are not gonna be huge badass creatures seems a bi tunlikely to me. People would be pissed if the legendaries were not epic destructive forces, it has always been like that.

One of the reasons why HGSS are my favorite pokemon games is because they went to kanto, hopefully this is the same with sun and moon. Hopefully they improve XYs faults though, and remake it slightly

This may sound cliché, but I really hope the moon legendary is either a wolf or an owl. It would be cool if the sun legendary was a red panda but that just seems too Farfetch'd.

I love your theory on the region, however, the only problem I have with it is the strange souvenir's interaction with your theory. After all I'm not sure if ''across a couple of mountains'' counts as a ''far away land'' that the souvenir comes from. In fact, for all we know the strange souvenir mightn't be in this next generation whatsoever. I would love to see a combination of your theories and thoughts to get the most accurate prediction, that is if you're able and up to the challenge!

rage, I think the reason the developers have been so tight-lipped about Sun and moon is because it was accidentally announced a day early by their branch in Germany, which kinda ruined their big "SURPRISE!" that they wanted to do with announcing it's creation.

If they are also going to include the X and Y region, and a slim graphics improvement, that would mean this game would take a lot of space!
Consoles can hold a lot of storage!
Could there be a wii u or NX port that exclusively includes the two regions like this?

weeb here. I like all your other predictions, but these ones feel like a bit of a stretch. The "Spanish" in the names, as you say, are originally latin. Also the Lion prediction is testy, since the letters "Leo" in the sun legendary from ソルガレオ is actually read Sorugareo, R- sounds in japanese being used for both R and L in other languages. The l in Sol is a fair assumption since the moon has Runa/Luna, but there is no reason to assume it is Leo over Reo, except to fit this theory. Obviously it might very well be Leo, but the names alone do not make that clear and thus i feel cannot be used to make judgements quite yet. Love the video either way :D

I've been predicting sun and moon take place in Spain or Egypt and every time I comment that prediction I get just destroyed by people 100% convinced it's Hawaii
