Personally, I think that if you have to consult life decisions such as romantic interests based on YouTube videos, you have problems. These people will just give you something on a general note. At the end of the day, you're supposed to be the one having a read on the guy. Do you think he's not initiating because he's not interested or is it because he's the shy type? Or perhaps, not every man should have an interest in you in order for you to have a potential relationship with him, just like how a woman traditionally is. If you think you could win him over and you like him, why not?
