This is weird honestly only because if you’re a C suite you can have multiple positions as a “consultant” also you can work a part time and you can own your own business but once you get 2 full time remote gigs then it’s looked at as unethical. Non compete is only if they decided to work for a competitor which I’m assuming probably only a few of those ppl did meaning the rest shouldn’t have been fired at all.
