Cool. Last time I heard this tune it was getting AM play (oddly though on the now defunct country station CFGM) in Toronto and i was riding with my pops in his green Oldsmobile. I never actually knew who sang this version (there are others) until now. Thanks.

Not a patch on the original by Kevin Johnson...
Sounds a bit rushed and his vocal is nowhere as near as good as Kevin Johnson’s....

Sorry guys, but the voice is utterly unsuitable for the song. This needs to be sung by someone with a manly voice like Kevin Johnson or Kris Kristofferson, guys you can imagine that have actually experienced it. ✌

Terry Jacks absolutely murdered this song! Did he ever write his own songs? His version of “Seasons in Sun” was a cover of a cover, the original was a French song by Jacques Brel. Anyway, go listen to the original “Rock and Roll” by Kevin Johnson....

Horrible! There is a version by a band named the Cats. That version is far better than this one.

I thought Seasons in the Sun was bad. This is cringeworthy. How this man carved out any sort of career as a singer beats me. Do yourself a favour and listen to the Kevin Johnson original.
