Let's go through all my current WORKS IN PROGRESS which include knit and crochet projects that I either started years ago or left off more recently. Either way, it was time I found out what was buried in my large basket of WIP's and what projects I could pick up over the next few weeks to finish. It gets slightly more chaotic towards the end as I find out that moths have eaten holes into one of my projects????? rip

The minute I saw the holes I was thinking "oh no, moths!!!" Definity check your closet as well, just in case they are in more than one place! :O

it can be SO tempting to just go ahead and buy the thing you want instead of making it... it's usually cheaper and obviously takes way less time before you get to use it, but it's just fun being able to recreate a piece you like! even more so when someone compliments it and you get to hit 'em with "omg thank you! i made it myself!"

All your work is wonderful but that stripped scarf is really great. I started knitting for years but than got into Crocheting. But that Scarf is very inviting. Maybe!

Maybe you can make a bag (a tote bag or something) with the granny square's from the top. If you don't have enough you can do a plain back.

Putting a sachet of cloves or lavender in with your WIPS can be very helpful! I keep a few of fresh lavender in mine.

Omg I ALSO made a granny square W tank out of worsted weight acrylic and never wore it. So I repurposed the yarn into a sweater-vest that I'll be able to wear in just a month or two! Fingers crossed!

The stripy patchwork crochet jacket could be a longer term project and you could use second hand acrylic yarn that you get from people or charity shops? Also you channel is really cool I can't wait to see more from you <3

New subscriber! Loving your attitude towards knitting and DIY ethos. Starting a YT channel definitely helps with motivation to get WIPs done. I think we live in the same UK county and would love for you to drop where you get cones of second hand yarn but understand if you want to keep that info to yourself :D Also, perfect time of year to cut & dry some lavender flowers to put in sachets in with your knitwear to help with moths. :)

Those might be moth holes.
You can stick all your wool in the freezer for a minimum of 3 days to kill any eggs or larvae that might be remaining on things.
