I have designed this hands-on course to provide you an intense yet enjoyable instructional experience that focuses on a large number of both introductory and advanced topics in SEM using the latest version of one of the most well-known software package, IBM AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structures). In this course I will provide the materials and instruction that you need to both develop a good understanding of SEM and to be able to thoughtfully apply a variety of basic and advanced models to your data. More specifically, this course will cover a broad range of topics such as
• data preparation,
• model development,
• model fit assessment using various indexes,
• construct reliability and validity assessment using various methods,
• different methods to improve your model,
• structural model assessment,
• hypothesis testing,
• mediation using Baron and Kenny approach
• mediation using Sobel test
• mediation using bootstrapping method
• moderation,
• and multi-group analysis

Hi, Thank you for the video. I have watched all the lessons and they really helped me. I have a quick question. Can I insert moderating variables into the relationship between independent variable and mediating variable? Like your example in the session for the mediation effect, X->M->Y model, I want to see W(moderating variable) have a moderate effect when X impact on M. is it possible to examine? thank you.

Greetings, Dr., if I may ask, why do we remove the nonsignificant interaction? I know that by removing the nonsignificant interaction, it will affect other interactions in the model as what you have just shown at minute 9.15. My apologies, I have tried to find answers but could not obtain one. What is the rationale for removing non-significant interactions? Thank you very much.

Dr. Sharif thank you for the explanation. I'm wondering if (let's say) I have a simple mediation model (consist of X, M, & Y) and I want to add a moderator (W) in between M and Y, would it be possible? And how to do it on AMOS? I have tried it on AMOS but the covariance cannot be drawn between the M, W, and M*W..

Thankyou sir, I just wanna ask how to make the slope of high and low moderator in excel? Do you have the slope excel file?

Thank you for the video.
Where can i download the excel sheet from?

Thanks for sharing the video. However, I have one doubt, the standardized value should range between -1 to 1. However, in the example, I found the std. a value greater than 1 also. Did I miss something?

Hello Dr, For such a moderation analysis that you have run, is it necessary to report goodness of fit indexes in any thesis or my goodness of fit in my moderation analysis is not good at all, what should I do??

What if the standardized regression weight of my interaction term is coming to be 2.2? Is it a problem?

Dr Sharif thank you for the well explained and comprehensive course. It really helped a lot and I would definitely recommend to anyone who want to learn data analysis. May you kindly advise what one may do if SEM model fit states that the probability levels cannot be computed. Can one do data imputation even if there is no missing cases in the dataset?

Please help! Can you run interactions in a SEM with second-order latent variables (i.e., a latent variable explained by other latent variables). I want to run an interaction between 2 predicting latent variables, but one of them is a second order LV, with 4 sub-constructs. Is is a case of running interactions between each sub-construct and the other predicting LV?

Hi, Thanks for this video. I have one doubt, Is the variables Trust, Output_Quality and Job_relevance the mean of all associated indicators?
