One summer in 2009, one of my brothers who is settled in France, brought home some tapes that had all kinds of songs on them... It was around 1 am and I was ironing clothes and the idea came to me to put that tape in the tape recorder, even though I didn't know what music was on it. I cannot describe in words the happiness and amazement I had when I discovered what extraordinarily beautiful songs could be heard on that tape. It didn't say who sang them, what they were called, I only knew that the saxophone, the instrument of my heart, was in the hands of a person who sings a story in each song, and the first song I heard was: SENTIMENTAL. After a few years, I happened to be around the house and heard a saxophone on TV and my heart jumped because it was unmistakable, it was the same saxophone that I had heard on the tape. Kenny had collaborated with Katy Perry and from there I found out the name of the one who plays to me at night on the tape recorder. 😁This incident overlaps with the time when I fell in love for the first time at 15 years old with a boy who would remain in my heart even today, after 14 years, deeply impregnated. It was my first love, and the greatest. Unfortunately, the differences on the future and my lack of commitment made me give up this relationship after 2 years, even though I loved him immensely. I didn't know how to tell him "I don't want to lose you EVER". And yet I Every time I miss him, I go back and listen to this beautiful masterpiece called SENTIMENTAL. I would like to turn back time and fight for what I can say I felt with all my heart: 😔 Thank you Kenny G because thanks to you through this song, I can go back 14 years, I close my eyes and remember how happy I was. Today I am the mother of two special children, but sad, almost divorced and with many soul Music heals, where the lack of love has left wounds.
