I'm 54 and I've been to hundreds of concerts. After I was saved I went to see some old bands again and I couldn't believe what I was hearing and felt, I was ashamed and sickened to the core. I walked out of 3 old favorites, including Iron Maiden. I couldn't believe The wickedness and satanic worshiping I was hearing. I never heard it before. Praise Jesus Christ for opening my eyes and ears to the truth. Everything has changed seemingly overnight. Evil is everywhere.

I noticed lyrics like that for years before finally giving my life to Jesus. I knew he turned to the “dark side” since his Blackout album. I was always a “conspiracy theorist” and said we’re in spiritual warfare. The only missing piece for me was knowing Jesus. The veil over my eyes was thinning before, and now it’s completely blown away and my eyes are open! Thank you, Jesus for bringing me back to you!

Soon after I decided to start living a righteous life in Christ I went to visit a friend, and even though he knew that I wasn't interested in the affairs of man he insisted that I watch a Cardi B video. I told him repeatedly that I wasn't interested in that type of music and didn't want to watch the video but he said he was going to play it anyway. As I listened to the beginning of the song I began to feel a wicked sensation, it wasn't the same joy I would get from the music we sang at church as we praise God and Jesus. At that moment I remember that the enemy will use people around you to try to get you to be fill with his evil spirit. I know my friend doesn't see and hear the way I do but I pray that one day he will be fill with the holy Spirit and be saved from the wickedness that is the music industry. All glory to God our Lord Jesus Christ who gave his life so that we can live. Amen

I believe music touches deep within our soul, and Christian music are like prayers. I was taught in my youth to beware of music that is not uplifting and learn what the songs you listen to really mean. I believe there is good music out there but cautious and informed.
