The Secret of the Antikythera Mechanism | The world's oldest computer

Once upon a time, a foreign cargo ship loaded with stolen booty deployed by a Roman general, embarked on a dangerous sea voyage across the Mediterranean sea. Unbeknownst to the captain and his crew, destiny was about to reveal it's true colours. Stowed inside the bow amongst other valuable treasure is a device engineered with high technology bound for Rome.

Without warning, this priceless mechanism sunk to the bottom depths of the ocean never to be seen again.

A device this complicated would take many years to evolve by combining multiple functions from less complicated previous devices. Probably should be called oldest computer found so far. Cheers
