It takes only 2 minutes to start the synthesis. In the video you can see that the reagent cartridge is already in place from a prior synthesis. In the next step you easily enter your desired DNA sequence in the software, insert a fresh fluidic chip and a fresh 500µl PCR vial, and "start synthesis". Wait for 60 min and your 20mer oligo is ready-to-use for further applications like PCR.

Kilobaser incorporates a microfluidic and a novel reagent cartridge technology and is able to produce ready-to-use DNA primers and oligos within 1 hour. i think, with Artificial Gene Synthesis, we could design our own X Gene, & it would all be done via computer software & synthesizing it.

Are you guys able to make a machine that can make megabases, take in FASTA files or others that we can download into it. Id be interested in being able to make chromosome sized dna, double stranded and with methyl cytosienes for mass production scale synthetic biology if it's possible
