This is really cool! In the past, I've printed a coloring page, traced it with pencil, laid it on top of the canvas, and colored all over the back of the page with a pencil to make a transfer to the canvas. Doing that with a shoe instead of canvas could make exact symmetry on both shoes. I'm SO ready to try this after watching your video. Maybe slapping best pony across a pair of shoes will make my Brony get rid of his trusty crusty sneakers lol. Thanks SO much!

eventually yes like everything thats put under constant stress and wear and tear but angelus paint is designed to stretch more than acrylic would and is waterproof more than acrylic too the finisher adds an extra helping to help prevent it

Thank you sooo much for keeping the video concise. Have you ever painted an an entire shoe im curious as to whether or not the paint feels really stiff and even cracks around the toebox where your feet bend when walking, thanks for the video!

but can you tell me how you traced/draw the Ni No Kuni shoes? Did you eye-ball it or did you just trace the picture onto the shoe with a thin pen or something like that?

When applying the finisher do you apply it when the painted design is wet or when it has dried?

What do you use to keep the paint from running if the shoes get wet? Is the acrylic finisher sufficient or does it need something else to put a waterproof coating on top? Thanks!

i mixture of both i put soft pencil on the back and trace on the other side as a guide then free hand the rest on :) i use a cheap mechanical pencil so the lines stay even and thin i also draw in any shading shapes like on these i segmented out the shading for drippy - hope this gave you some idea :)

Hi. Would you recommend painting glue that dries clear over the shoe before painting over it to prevent the paint from seeping through? Idk, I just got this idea from someone else

Two things.If the shoes are already white, do you add a coat of white paint.Also how many coats of paint do you use for the other colors.

How long did your shoes last with the finisher? I cant find any finisher around my area... Or are there alternatives to the finishers? Thanks!

I'm using acrylics on a new pair I have (I've done this before with pens and sharpies) but I'm afraid that it'll crack if it's bent or if I layer too much. Is there a certain limit I should avoid??

Hi, I have a cloth Nike Air Max that has faded. I want to paint it back the same color. Will the SoSoft Fabric Acrylic from Walmart be a good choice paint to use?
