My testimony is one of faith. No matter what we are facing God will give us strength. As a single mother I’m overwhelmed at times raising two children with autism. I started homeschooling them last year so my hours to work are limited. I keep faith in Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. Lord please take away my fears because I’m constantly in fear of homelessness. But I STILL TRUST IN YOU. Please guide me and protect me through this hard period of my life I am facing. Faith over fear! ❤

Amen! Glory to God. The Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. A life without Christ is certainly a dead life. Let us put our trust sorely and entirely upon the manifestation of God in the person of Christ & the Holy Spirit .

I think many misinterpret these passages about God making the mountains level and roads through deserts, and creating peace and so on as being literal and physical, when actually I see them as metaphorical. The world's problems will not change, but rather it is our psychological, spiritual, and emotional change in seeing things and resolving them within us that is the true salvation from the chaos in our outer world.

Just look at the situation with Israel. After 1000's of years in exile, they have returned to the land... to do what? What is God saying by this? What is God asking of them? Obviously, they are being asked to start over, to get back to the truth they once had. They started in the desert when Moses led them out of Egypt, where the glory of the LORD appeared to them. They are being asked to return. So... "In the desert prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God. Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all mankind together will see it."
