I'm Going to start piecing together a belt creature idea I've had for a while, very soon (today). I appreciate your channel and remember to always have fun. Stay safe.

You speak my language, brother. I'm currently building Jeremy Schmidt's grinder, but if that goes south, I'll be hitting you up once you get this off the ground. Subbed, and I'll be seeing you!

I have all the metal, but want the plans and the hinges, so I'm waiting to build it till you're ready. Can't wait!

Brian, you are so damn smart. I wish I could think as well as you do.

Hi for the table receiver have you thought about using a circular tube as opposed to the square receiver so you can articulate it vertically and horizontally when you flip the unit. And you can C cut the male tube like you did the main unit that allows it to stay locked in and put in a tensioner screw. Thanks for the video.

Brian,

Did you ever figure out if you can wire your lights into the kbac vfd?

Вот это частотный преобразователь, нет ни вентиляторов, ни лишних отверстий для подсоса пыли, простой как утюг и работает долго! 👍

Nice job! I was contemplating building a belt sander myself, but I have noticed that some have been made like yours with VFD and some without. Is there a real need to have a variable speed belt sander or can a person get away with just a one speed model? Your work looks really professional. Thanks for posting. Cheers!

I see you recommend the kbac 27d for the iron horse 2hp. Why wouldn’t you recommend the 29d since you recommend to use 220 volt.im gonna buy one and am just curious the reasoning

Can you use a vfd like the one you have there with 110v?

If you are promoting this toward the DIY crowd the motor you've provided a link for will not work in a home workshop. The link brings up a 3 phase motor, I would say that probably 99% of DIYers don't have access to 3 Phase power. That is generally only found/used in commercial and industrial applications. Other than that, so far everything else seems top notch! **EDIT** With the VFD it is possible to wire single phase power into the VFD but you do lose rating in regards to the VFD power output. It may be wise to use a VFD that can handle at least 3hp but 5hp would insure no issues.
