How to Play MW3 As Infected

@PainKillerAvenger - I'm torn on the throwing knife. Without it people camp on light posts or on top of boxes and their nearly impossible to kill. Also, when I finally stab somebody they quit the game and I'm still alone trying to get the survivors. With it, I die when it feels unfair.

Overall, I prefer it with the throwing knife.

Hey woody also don't forget to flood them with your tactical insertions and run side to side. It makes them miss more and when they're reloading you can knife them. I got a 3 piece on dome from moving side to side it helps a lot.

Great job getting behind them! If you are caught about 20 feet away from them try to throwing knife them right away, this is difficult but it might work 20 percent of the time depending on how good you are with the throwing knife.

It's annoying how the Infected get throwing knives AND they've patched the "untouchable" spots. They should remove the throwing knives considering they're patched all the spots, but obviously keep them on Dome because of the obvious rail. Thumbs up if you agree?

I like how Black Ops has Gun Game and MW3 has this infection, instant kill with knife then your a zombie. Both gamemodes like CS:S. lol

What I like doing at the very beginning of the game is find a corner to sit in UNTIL the first infected spawns in, ADS on anyone near me. You typically want to avoid large crowds when the first infected hasn't spawned in yet.

@WoodysGamertag in response to your throwing knife i think a good example would be when people camp out the one entrance on bakara (i think thats how you spell it), as it only has one entrance it becomes almost impossible to just run up and knife the person, the throwing knife is an essential to this game mode, without it it would be broken .

1. Use your Throwing knives and Tactical Insertions they make a big difference. 2:10 That fight could easily have been won with the throwing knife. 2. A good tip is when you have to run to someone out in the open, and you have no throwing knife, run in a zig zag line, it makes it harder for the survivors to shoot you. I first came up with the idea in Halo Reach because there were no thrwing nives so I had to figr out a good way to get kills on a group of people campng at the nd of a long tunnel.

I like what they did in the halo patch. the infected never got any throwing knife or anything like that, but know what bungie did was block all the camping spots with boxes, crates etc, so that the survivors don't camp, but rather move around and get around the infected in a smart way. COD should consider doing that

@instiinctsprime it would be true that the 1st infected get the most points, if you didn't account for other variables. first off, survivors get bonuses each time a teammate dies. secondly, infected have infinite respawn so you can keep killing them but it doesn't work the other way around. also, there's no guarantee the first infected will kill every survivor, they have to share kills.

Funny how they all were running around the map, the experience on the couple of infected games I played was that people get in a corner of the map and the only way to get them is the throwing knife.

@TheMaximan97 I own and play both a PC and console. Gaming PCs today are better but more expensive, which is my point taken from first hand experience rather than a wiki page about the origins of gaming. I'm sorry, i'm sorry, i'll re-phrase my previous post as you seem to have mis-interpreted it; Consoles are designed, to a budget, for those who aren't willing to spend money on a Gaming PC.
