When people talk about Tank second fight vs Haney they don’t talk about Tank not being in shape and still holding his own. Plus folks speak on Tanks age difference but never talks about how small Tank is compare to the rest of these guys still sleeping s*** like he has Similac, a pacifier, and lullabies in his mitts🥊🥊👑

One thing I like about Floyd is his genuine love for the sport of boxing. Look at Floyds face in his interviews and you’ll see his entire demeanor changes and his eyes light up when he’s talking about boxing. He loves And eats sleeps breaths boxing so much that even though he’s technically retired the guy really isn’t retired. What professional athlete have you seen compete at the highest level for damn near 20 years straight with a perfect record, retire, then continue to train and compete in “exhibitions” at 40 years old and work as a promoter to grow the sport of boxing and bring up the next generation of fighters.. like even though the closest comparison is Tom Brady, Tom isn’t going to keep training and play in arena leagues or the USFL and start a sports agency when he retires. That’s basically what Floyd is doing now if you were to compare it to football.

I see all these comments about being in shape. Normally I stay out of this type of business and don’t respond to social media. But tonight, I’ll make an exception and say, there is no such thing as being in shape for a fight, might be feeling sick one day or low on calories, tired or sleepy, depressed or grieving, wrist or thumb hurting anything, as a fighter you must overcome the odds regardless of the situation. A fight is a fight whether fair or not and every fighter accepts that, tank chose to spar him so if he lost he lost or whatever they say, as a fighter or any person you should take accountability for everything, there is no best shape, you break down your body to get stronger and do it everyday, might be feeling hurt or injured from training, you must overcome weakness
