Hi Pradeep Cant your Scan 4% breakout have all the Criteria fit in the scan? like closing at high of day, previous day slight negative or slightly up(<=0.4%), Base of 5 days and or base of 40 days, Higher volumes on breakout day, linear move first leg prior breakout.

You meaned that the volume should be greater than yesterday volume and you get into the trade within the first 30 min. So the question is, does the volume in the first 30 min should be more than the entire previous day volume? thanks

Shouldn't the breakout be dependent on Average Daily Range %?? If you have a stock that has a high ADR%, then a 4% breakout will be meaningless. I am presuming that these parameters have to be adjusted according to the stock in question.
