The Use of Technology in Education - A C Grayling
Показать описание
Does good, high quality education have to be face to face?
People can get a fair degree of milage from using technology in education that we have today - for instance MOOCS (Massive Online Open Course-wear).
Though at some point you do want person-to-person interaction (the subtleties of human interaction mean a lot).
Anthony Clifford Grayling, usually known as A. C. Grayling, is a philosopher and author. He was born in the British expatriate community in Zambia (formerly Northern Rhodesia) and spent most of his childhood there and in Malawi. In 2011 he founded and became the first Master of New College of the Humanities, an independent undergraduate college in London. Until June 2011, he was Professor of Philosophy at Birkbeck, University of London, where he taught from 1991. He is also a supernumerary fellow of St Anne's College, Oxford.
Many thanks for watching!
