All military personnel have to go through an FBI background check. When I joined the Navy I had to have a 25 year background check. After college I worked for DOD-Navy for 20 years and had to have a 10 year FBI background check when I started and another 8 years later when I changed bases. We had to fill out and sign a financial disclosures every year, which is the law for all federal employees, active duty military and folks in the Reserves. Besides that we had mandatory ethics training annually. I was just a GS-9 or a mid-level manager of 30 people, not the head of a Department.

How can a service member (a woman) be removed from their jobs, such as a scud missle laucher or any other battle role? When I entered the Army, a woman, I went in assigned to 95B, Military Police, and I signed a contract with the U.S. Government for the said position. A contract is a contract. It is a legal document.
