I absolutely love this car, it's the most beautiful EV on the market. It does however deserve a bigger battery to ensure a decent range. As for now, it's a brilliant commuter. Longer trips require time and infrastructure. Great film, thanx!

The lump in the floor isn't a transmission tunnel. The ICE version is front engine/front wheel drive so there's no driveshaft.

About one year now we have the brother of this car, the Peugeot e2008 and like this eC4 the looks are the best and only decent thing about these cars. The range is far from optimal and drops rapidly if conditions are a bit off and you like to drive a ‘normal’ speed. The greatest shock I had was not to long ago, a 100 miles trip, 6 degrees Celsius, headwinds at about 74 mph did cost 41, 3 kWh. That is almost the whole capacity of the battery. Only in normal conditions (like summer) the 150 mile range (and driving with a pillow under your right foot) can be achievable. Nice review! Citroen haven't fixed their biggest problem, the biggest problem is the relatively small battery. In 2021 a 50Kw/h battery simply doesn't cut the mustard especially with the UK's poor charging network.

I am 6 2" and I find the back of the e-c4 extremely comfortable. That car is fantastic! I've tried the new Hyundais and Kias. Comfort, finish and design of the interior of the Citroen is so much better.

A decent design, love the angular approach to the front lights, not so sure about the scalloped out bit behind the front wheels though. It’s good that Citroen have moved away from the hunt for 0-60 times in new ev’s. Comfort is something you want every day and will never get bored of.

Citroën like Peugeot are really standing out with some great looking cars. I think the E C4 could be a popular choice. Great review

Unfortunately the price is no longer Decent as the Gov grant is £32000 or less for £1500 grant now. Will be interesting to see if prices are cut to qualify for this now. I imagine a lot of panic setting in for car manufacturers like MG who just released prices for new EVs in line with the old £34000 limit and £2500 discount. Maybe worth doing a report on in future?

It’s a shame auto makers are still trying to utilize ICE platforms for electric vehicles. While the utility for the auto maker is obvious, the electric car result is suboptimal. We need to see a shift to dedicated electric platforms to get DECENT results that provide all the benefits an e vehicle has to offer.

It has problems with de misting the widow after 10 mins still the same. when you put the rear double seat down, getting it back up is very hard as the rear seatbelt gets very tight meaning it won’t go up. So what you need to do is put the seat down again release the seatbelt slowly then raise the seat up again. 3 pin plug is ideal for me

Decent in most respects, with the exception of range. It really needs a real world 200 miles.

I like your review. I have the EV4, just 2 months old. It’s a beauty and I love it. I’m a steady driver, don’t go for speed or do long distances. It so comfortable and perfect for me.

My previous car, for 3 years, was an EV-MG. It was also beautiful and a dream drive but still a nightmare. The electrics were never right and it constantly made loud annoying beeps. I was very happy to replace it with this gorgeous vehicle. My advice is avoid EV-MG.
