Fruit Custard Trifle || Fruit Trifle Recipe || Dessert - RKC

Ingredients
* Milk 2 1/2 cups, divided
* Sugar ½ Cup or adjust
* Vanilla custard powder 6 tbsp
* Apple 1, chopped
* Grapes red and green ½ Cup each
* Banana 2, chopped
* Sugar 2 tbsp or adjust to your taste
* Strawberry Jelly packet 1
* Orange jelly packet 1
* Pomegranate seeds 4 tbsp
Order of Assembling
1. Sponge cake slices
2. Orange juice
3. Jelly cubes
4. Vanilla Custard
5. Mixed fruits
6. Vanilla Custard
7. Decorate with Jelly cubes and pomegranate seeds
Preparation
1. Heat a saucepan add 2 cups milk, sugar, mix well and bring it to boil.
2. In a mixing bowl mix vanilla custard powder with 1/2 cup milk and mix well.
3. Gradually add dissolved custard powder, whisk continuously and cook until thickens. Whisk until cool down.
4. In another bowl add all the fruits of your choice, sugar and mix it well and keep aside.
5. Prepare jelly as per the package directions and keep it in the refrigerator to set. Cut jelly into cubes or slices and set aside.
6. In a serving dish,first layer the sponge cake slices and then pour orange juice over.
7. Top it with cubed jelly and Then prepared custard.
8. Add mixed fruits over it and pour the custard over.
9. Top it with jelly cubes and pomegranate seeds.
Recipe Notes
Here I used fresh mango, apple, banana and grapes. You can use canned tropical fruits too. Just drain the syrup and use.
