If we don't see every mobile feature but polished on PC imma be straight pissed. MVP screens, cool side switch animation, all skins available, kingdom credit skins, insane practice modes, cutscenes, etc.

Riot's parent company is Tencent and Tencent's major focus has been in the mobile gaming industry. PUBG mobile, CoD mobile have a much larger audience in asia because getting a mobile phone that can run games smoothly is easier than buying a gaming PC in those countries due to societal norms. It's obvious that Valorant mobile will be cleaner and have fancier shit.

Same thing happend with Apex Legends, mobile version looked wayyy better than console & PC. It wasn't until a few seasons later that they decided to add the same/similar features & adaptations to the main game.

Pretty sure mobile release will get agent skins or atleast MVP animation bundles. It is going to be heavily heavily monetized...

They probably rebuilt for mobile with the idea of these features in mind. Its harder to implement new features like this when the game is already out. You usually have to back track a lot of stuff and sometimes stuff conflicts. Since they have the reference of the pc version to go off of, they can just "copy" and add more. Obviously not that simple, but you get the idea. Its not a direct port of the game its just a different version of it. Just like the LoL Wild Rift.

So THAT is why we hardly get any updates anymore! That explains a lot...
But please tell me that we will get many of the things like the shooting range, custom mode and so on too. But somehow I have the feeling that we'll never see this on the PC so that people have a reason to play the smartphone version...

Don't hold your breath in terms of feature parity, except for maybe a couple of stand outs, if the community goes crazy enough about them and they won't lose Riot money.
The reason Valorant mobile is getting new features is that it's being developed by a whole other team of developers.
Main valorant has all hands assigned to bugfixes, updating the anti-cheat and developing new agents\modes, mobile valorant has\had its team organized in a way that makes implementing tons of features quicker, because that's what you need while the game is under construction.

"Why is there more on mobile?" Because it's a newer version of the game, with new features and devs that had time to add stuff to a game that already existed. It's not surprising at all and they probably have some of that stuff ready to ship to the game. But just because something is done, doesn't mean it gets shipped. Most of those things are scheduled for certain releases. As an example, the duelist changes are scheduled to release next month with Patch 8.11. Which means, they probably are already done, but they don't want to ship them before Masters Shanghai.

They release it in China first, because mobile gaming is super like super famous over there. I went there a few months ago, and almost every kid i saw, was playing games on a phone. Yes this was during summer vacation if you're wondering.
So im assuming that they're testing it in China, and fixing all the bugs before releasing it to the world.
But that also means that it will take a few years, as making Val China took like 2-3 years. I played Val China upon release, since I was in China. Its just the same as valorant now, but without the option to change the game language. They added that feature now.
