I think the robots are like the Geth from mass effect, in that they are an amalgamation of a bunch of little intelligences that get smarter the more of them there are, but I think the intelligences are biological pseudo plankton, or seaweed that they saw in the 1st episode of season 2

Just want to add a little correction here, you said that Judy was adopted by the Robinsons, that's not really true, she adopted them. Judy is Maureen's biological daughter with Grant Kelly. She remarried after the supposed death/disappearance of Kelly. That's why EP 5 is so powerful between Judy and John, she accepts him as her father and takes on the last name of Robinson. It's why the bond between those two is, arguably, stronger than his own biological children, Judy is his first child, his oldest child.

I love the fact Will acknowledged that the Robot did literally anything for him without question and how one sided it was despite being a "friendship" and rectified that by helping Scarecrow who in turn returned the favour thanks to will and Adler.

I think the 2 session is even better then the first one. I think they should do another session 3 its a very good show for the whole family . I was impressed with the 2nd session

"the robot never attacked humans" i think your forgot the first season, the robot Will control is the one that killed 27 people on the Resolute at the very begining. Plus, the army of robot at the end of season 2 never attacked humans because they didn't encountered humans, the whole time the army was in the Resolute the very first human they see is Will, and they decide to attack him even after Will tried to communicate with them.
