Tara, listening to you talk about your son reminds me so much of where I was 5 months ago. My son, our youngest, left for college and I was heartbroken! He didn't move 6 hours away, thank God, but empty nest is a real thing! It's freaking hard as balls! Plus I was dealing with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy. Emotionally I was a mess. I'm in a much better place now but the stress and sadness of my children being gone was way worse than the cancer. I'm so happy for you that you're getting your son back and you can enjoy a few more years with him.

Both my boys left home for the military within 1 year of each other and I had just my daughter home and so I cried with you when you said he was coming home. I totally understand completely! My middle son did end up coming home and so now 2 of the kids are home and my house feels better and I feel better. I don’t know what I will do when they both move out and it’s just me. The house will be so quiet and lonely. Congrats on your new channel too!

Omg I completely relate to you, my daughter is away for her first year of school. She’s a nursing student. When you started to cry it made me cry. I miss my daughter so much. We are extremely close, it’s been killing me. I’m super proud of her and happy for her but I feel empty. I’m so thrilled for you !!

Tara, congrats on the new channel!! Also, my son went into the military at age 21 and was away for 4 years!!! It was the worse time ever. Thank God I had my younger son to keep me busy. But he came home this past May and it's been wonderful! He missed so much family stuff being away. I'm in R.I he was in Tennessee!! 17hour drive straight . He did get an experience others won't but u get the BEST OF BOTH WORLDS..your son will still get the college "experience " but still be close!!!! I'm so happy for your family. ❤❤❤❤❤
