This is another leftover ham recipe. I really like this homemade whole-wheat pizza crust. The pizza comes out really nice and delicious.

Ingredients for the crust:
1 cup warm water
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp active dry yeast
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp cornmeal to coat the pan

Ingredients for topping:
1/2 cup pizza sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1 cup chopped ham
1/2 cup can pineapple chunks, drained and squeezed.

Method:
1. In a mixer bowl, mix water, sugar, and yeast together. Let proof for 5-10 minutes or until foamy.
2. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, and salt together.
3. Add oil to the yeast mixture, then add 1-2 cups of the flour mixture, with a dough hook attachment, mix and knead until the dough comes together then add the rest of the flour mixture. Continue to knead on medium-low speed for 8-10 minutes or until elastic.
4. Coat the dough with oil and cover it with plastic wrap and keep it in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
5. Turn dough into a 14" pizza pan coated with cornmeal, spread the dough by hand, or using a rolling pin, to fit the entire pan about 1/4 inch thick.
6. Prick the dough with a fork and bake at 400 deg. F. for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven.
Note: Let the pizza crust cool if you want to use the pizza crust later. Keep it in a freezer zip lock bag.
7. Add pizza sauce to the crust, then chopped ham, mozzarella cheese, and pineapple chunks.
8. Bake 475-500 deg. F for 5-8 minutes or until the cheese melted.
