I have never forgotten this movie. Scared me half to death. I have never been able to swim in a lake without feeling that hand come up and grab my leg.

My first drive-in movie was "Jaws " in 1975 and I went with all my girlfriends to watch it.
It scared me so much that I'll never go into the ocean. 😆

I saw the movie "The Birds" 1952 &1963 i creep out being in the park with the doves or walking on sidewalk as flocks of birds watch you on the wires🫣

No but my sister told me there was a monster under our bed. She turned out the light, dove into bed and hit the heard board with her nose. Broken her nose.😂. I wouldn’t be able to swim either in the dark. Shudder the thought👍

Ugh, Soylent Green. I was a child when I saw it on TV. Had a nightmare that French Bread was people. No more french bread for me until I grew up.

I watched the Psycho movie as a child and to this day I only use those clear (see-through) shower liners as shower curtains.

Swimming pool drains always have freaked me out....not sharks or other sea creatures 🤣

Twilight Zone, maybe age 9, episode when the girl fell into a black hole sleeping in bed. I didn't sleep at the head of my bed until I was in my 30's! Now, at 60, I won't have the head of my bed against the wall!

Oh my goodness I remember that movie also. My sisters and I played that over and over taking turns being the victim.

My mother introduced us to that movie as she was a kid when it was out. My brothers and I enjoyed it lol

When I was two, my mom took me to watch Psycho. After that, I was terrified of taking showers until I was thirteen. I forced myself to get over my fear because I knew I would have to take showers in school. It took until I was twenty-one to be able to shower with my eyes closed.
