If you're aiming to buy a new car this year, get ready for some sticker shock on certain models— or consider opting for one that's less in demand.

While the new-car market is bouncing back with increasing inventory and sales, many cars, SUVs, trucks, and limited-edition sports models are still fetching prices far above the MSRP.

In this video, I reveal the top 10 cars, SUVs, and trucks currently selling the most above sticker price. We're breaking it down by specific trims, with every model on the list commanding at least 5 percent more than its MSRP.

I don't see that in my area, in fact the opposite is more the case. People were treated poorly starting at Covid19 and dealers who did this had to expect to get addressed. Mavericks are sitting on lots in my areas, especially anything above the XL trim level.

Shortages of popular models allow dealers to charge any price they want. Dealers can charge 60K for Camry, and people will still buy them.

If people are willing to pay over MSRP why not make that money?! That'll change when people stop being stupid!!!!

Didn't he just post a video saying prices are coming down? Only deals I have in my area are EVs, several thousand under msrp. Almost everything is marked up. Maybe if they start lowering prices people will start buying again.

Dealer greed is disgusting and costly to some manufacturers for some models like Acura nsx, Integra launch and now type S, Civic type R.

I see these guys in their monster trucks racing around town but they never have anything in the bed of the truck, maybe a 6 foot ladder so they can climb in and out of the truck. Clowns

One way to fix this problem is for states to pass laws mandating they sell the car at MSRP. The dealer can try and run up the price, but if the buyer says I will pay MSRP, then the dealer MUST sell that car for MSRP.

It’s amazing how stupid some people can be. I’d like to ask all those who chose to pay over MSRP, does it still hurt to sit and walk?
