Mr Ashish
Hi:
Please read out the following sentence:

This is the boy who tantalized me for a job.
Here, the interrogative word (who) ( relative pronoun ) defines the noun (boy) going before it. This way, it can be termed as the relative clause / adjective clause.

The problem is, some people take it as a noun phrase. How it could be a noun phrase when it does contain a subject (who) and a verb (tantalized) combination ! Don't you find some ambiguity between the sentences ?
Please view it and revert if you think viable to answer. Take care.

With warm regards,

MA Jaleel Hyderabad
