tip for the period: if you don’t feel comfortable with wearing pads or tampons, there’s a special type of underwear that acts like it has a pad in it, but you can’t feel it. it does the job well. there’s different type cuts, and they have different flows. you can try and pack those if needed in your backpack or emergency kit.
