The "because again, I have a problem" at 6:17 really hit home for me lol. Great collection and video!

I’m a 3 watch guy, I don’t like having stuff sit in boxes for a while without wear

A really nice detail is that you changed many of the bracelets for straps. I think that makes the watch looks different and makes it more personal. Probably many people that are obsessed with Rolex bracelets can argue against that, but I think that's cool. Nice collection!

The Diamond District in NYC is a snake pit of dealers buying and selling to each other and then eventually the public. Bottom line, the buyer gets soaked in this swap frenzy. None of this stuff is coming from authorized resellers of factory stock. If you simply want a nice watch and plan to wear it buy the *amzswiss* . If the dealers have a hard time telling real from fake your friends will never know the difference. Tell the dealers to keep the papers, card and box and you'll be a happy camper with lots of money in your pocket.

Great video! My collection is 9 watches at the moment. Just got the 2023 Tudor Black Bay Burgundy with the Jubilee bracelet last week. Absolutely love it! Got a couple of Longines (Conquest & HydroConquest), TAG Heuer F1 Chrono, Tissot PRX auto & Heritage 1938, a Mido Ocean Star 200C, G-Shock GA2100 & my first one was a Hamilton Khaki.

Hi Harrison!
I’m building a 6+1 core collection. I’ve the same watch box as you. So, there are six watches in the box and one on my wrist:

1. Rolex Submariner
2. Cartier Santos (charcoal dial)
3. JLC Reverso Classic small second mid size
4. Panerai Radiomir sand beige dial
5. Tag Heuer Carrera Skipper
6. Omega Globemaster (silver dial) — I’m going to pick it up within two weeks
7. Full metal G-Shock (vintage coating)

Best wishes,
Claus

Well thought out collection and very well considered straps. Changes the look of a watch altogether. Very nice.

I’m a dive watch guy. I’ve narrowed my collection to 3 watches: 16610 Sub Date, Black ceramic bezel Seamaster 300M with a rubber strap, and the new Pelagos FXD GMT. The Sub is my go to dress watch, even though it’s technically a tool watch, the 40mm case, aluminium bezel and classy hour markers just work. My Seamaster is my “everyday” watch I also use for water sports, just looks so good with everything, and the Tudor is my travel/adventure watch. Maybe one day I’ll add a vintage dress watch like an Omega pie pan or something similar, but for the moment that simplicity is perfect for me

I agree that min 3, max 7 is a great range. I personally can't justify more "luxury" (to me, luxury is $1K and up) watches than there are days in a week, because then expensive watches don't end up getting worn which is a problem. I am currenty at 6 even though my wife and I share the NOMOS Club Campus 36. The one I yearn to be a 7th is a GMT-Master II (Pepsi or Bruce Wayne). Would also love a white speedy to fill that slot as well. I don't count my few G-Shocks (3 CasiOaks and the light blue John Mayer x Hodinkee PT-01), Brew Retrograph Espresso, MoonSwatch Mission on Earth, or Mr. Jones as part of the core collection.

I love your collection man! We definitely have similar tastes across the Rolex, Omega, IWC, and GS Spectrum!

My current collection:

1.) Blue Omega SMP 300M Diver
2.) Racing Green IWC Pilot's Chronograph 41
3.) Explorer 36
4.) Datejust 36 (blue fluted-motif dial)
5.) Grand Seiko SBGW287 Boshu
6.) NOMOS Club Campus 36.

You need ONE more watch……. That way when you’re wearing one the box won’t have an empty space!!!

That version of the Explorer II is I believe the perfect manifestation of that model. It is truly the ultimate go everywhere, do everything watch. I have that exact model and would never sell it. It’s not even my most expensive watch, but it is the most precious.

My vote is a core 4, and an auxiliary 4 that are cheaper. Love your collection!

Pretty solid collection, totally agree with the 6 as an optimal size. I also have an Explorer, Speedy and bought a blue Mark XX for my birthday!!!

For my vintage I want to add a Polarouter and I am eying up that new GS UFA white dial for a bit of dial colour variation.
