I'm glad you enjoyed the Farseer trilogy! I really liked the first book and I'm currently reading book two (I only have a few chapters left).
I also struggled initially with the writing style and the pacing but I've grown to love the characters (well... most of them 😅). The audiobook narrator is really good, it feels like I'm listening to Fitz tell his story

The Ocean at the End of the Lane is one of my FAVORITE BOOKS OF ALL TIME! So glad you liked it! I really need to finally get to the second era of Mistborn so this is a good kick in the ass lol

I read The Thief a few years ago and didn't really care for it, so I gave up on the series, but it sounds like I gave up too soon! You make me want to continue, so I might give it another chance at some point :)

I recently re-read Assassin's Apprentice and loved it, so now I'm ready to continue with the series and I'm so excited. I really feel like this series is only going to get better and better!

I loved the assassins apprentice and could not stop reading but i disliked Fitz so much in the second book that I've been put off reading the rest of the series. I'm really glad you enjoyed them and I may go back to them in the future!
