Erin-Go-Bragh - Traditional Scottish folk song (see description below for song info)

A traditional Scottish song from the 19th century that tells the story of a Highland Scot who is mistaken for an Irishman by an unfriendly Edinburgh police officer. The lyrics in this version are based on Dick Gaughan's arrangement from his 1981 album "A Handful of Earth". This version was recorded in Yorkshire, June 2019.

That, my man, is a great version. Most times I hear a different version it just makes me want to reach for "A Handful of Earth", but this is a new favourite in its own right. Would love to hear a studio version.
