When I was a kid I would go in the local farmers field and husk dried corn with my buddy. We’d spend hours there and get a few bags of corn. We’d basically just throw it around when we were done. I was a bad kid. 😂

It always amazes me how hard people work for so little return. Interesting video. Maybe you should start your own business like that to grind down the corn. Sell that new buggy. 😂

I was waiting to see the miracle of converting corn to rice. I have never known anybody with such a skill.

I truly love watching your whole clan working together. The kids are playing, the older ones are working. I do not see having small talks though or gossiping..LOL..

In America we call what you made ( grits ) I like it very much we eat it for breakfast with butter on it. Of course you made yours and we buy ours at the store. Yours is probably better cause it's made with love.

Americans have a food called Corn Bread. It uses the coarser ground flour. Very, very tasty. And easy to make. Also, in the south they make grits with the coarse corn. Super easy breakfast that keeps you going. Also, if you aren't going to compost the corncobs, pigs love them. 👍

When you grow vegetables, it's important to get rid of the weeds around your plants because the weeds take water away from what you are trying to grow.

Sophia was very quiet, by her standard. Couldn't get out of there fast enough and go with sister Crist back to her house. Probably heard about the new smart TV from Rhiane and Samantha! Nice dog. Is that Gino the dog?

Awww, don't separate the sisters (cousins). Sophia wants to be with her sisters.

Was all the corn for your own consumption or are you able to sell a surplus?

I don't think you have told us your Auntie's name yet. She is often in your videos, and I would like to know her name please. Keep up the good work and God Bless everybody

Poor Sophia, , 😥😢😭 she wanted her Mumai and her Sam ❤ that was an interesting process, , lots of hard work for not much return. Here is a little secret. When saving corn to plant again, , you dont want to save the stunted deformed tiny corn cobs, , you'll just get more stunted deformed corn. You need to save big healthy, , full of kernels ears. When you save the right ears, , you can breed that crappy stunted stuff out in 4 or 5 years. ❤❤❤ take care swee tee Ttyl, , , Marlon

Since you don't use the chicken eggs, only for meat, have you thought about raising rabbits over there? Rabbit tastes almost exactly like chicken (I think better) and can produce quite a bit more meat. Also can eat exclusively vegitation you can just go and cut wild. And their poo is some of the best fertilizer in the world.

Why do you grow lemongrass? Do you eat it?

Use new seed. You have a lot of cross pollination going on. You have no idea what will actually grow from any of your collected seed.
Also, and I say this politely, we wouldn't even bother with a fieldcorn crop that stunted wouldn't be worth the labor or the fuel. There are dozens, if not hundredes of varities of corn that would return 5 to 10 tomes that yield. Do a quick search online and you should easily find a better seed. It requires the same amount of work to harvest at 50 tons/acre as 120 tons/acre. And the small amount you use should be pretty affordable. Use a glass container with a good sealing lid to keep seed corn. Dim/dark place. Will keep for years. And again, I highly encourage you to not plant seed from your crop.

It is impossible to turn corn to rice... it doesn't matter how anyone tries
