In part 3 of this first look series, Echo Sound Works plays a bunch of presets from the Legend.

This synth sounds beautiful! It absolutely nails the minimoog sound, but it's also capable of very modern sounds.

Epic .. just friggin epic! Where was this in 1979 when I was lugging around my heavy Model D in an Anvil ATA flight case along with my B3, Rhodes 73 Stage, and Elka String Rhapsody, woulda saved a lot in chiropractor bills over the years lol 🤔

Amazing analogish warm sound, you can't make the difference, very good for sound design from scratch, but what makes is "unbuyable" for me is that you can't play chords in unison mode which has to be a basic thing in a synth.Even the free famous Synth1 by Daichi has that.I will definetly buy it if they will upgrade it and make possible that basic feature.

Wow, This sounds absolutely amazing. But seeing as I have Arturia's emulation (Which is pretty dead on), I don't know if I should add another softsynth to my collection. I discovered that what I tend on doing is trying to get all the "hot" synths, without actually working with what I already have, which would make anyone happy. But IDK what it is about delaying your work, so you could find "better sounding synths", and going on a never ending search.
I mean, my current list is; Nexus2, Z3ta+ 2, Dune 2, Serum, Massive, Diva, Fabfilter's Twin2 (Which is a pretty good synth), OBdX (A small goodie which I've been using more and more for layers/sitting on top of other synths. But very good on its own). I also have some of Arturia's modular, moog and prophet emulation synths which sounds VERY nice on its own.
Then I have VST synths which i've owned for years and can never part with like Novation's V-Station, Vanguard, FM8, Disco DiscoveryPro2. I couldn't get Sylenth1 to install and was pissed as hell, because I choose to run Ableton 64bit. My machine has 10GBs of memory, So I don't want to lose out on having ableton lag on me. Since I've been running the 64bit version, it hasn't lagged once. But it has crashed a few times. Not too many to want to go back to 32bit edition. Plus, if you are producing a hot track, and ctrl+s isn't your most used friend, then you need to recheck your producing priorities. Lol, I'm hitting it like every 5 mins. I used to work with Cubase 5, and I had auto save every 5 or 10 mins there, so you don't need to keep hitting save every 10 mins.

A great synth with hundreds of fantastic sounds!
Only minus maybe is that all the Synapse Audio synths (e.g. Dune 2 etc.) have this little Virus C character. But it doesn't matter ;)

Sounds good, but too much reverb in the presets. If it's presented as a Minimoog clone, I'd like to hear it dry

Nice attempt, main difference for me is the software sounds static and the hardware sounds alive.

No Read or Write!.... so no automation of the Knobs... was going to get this until i noticed that...Dam because it sounds good
