I was very proud of it at first, but ended up deciding to remake it.

This video was an april fools prank that I remastered, but the joke was lost.
I really really hope we get a full subnautica movie

This was really just a big art project
Although I might make more stuff like this in the future, just not a complete movie.
I had an absolute blast making this, and I really wanna do more.

awesome stuff; love the mix of the ambience from the game and voicelines but a bit of scaling and linearity would absolutely make this a work of art. That scene with the sinking cyclops and seadragon was amazing haha! can’t wait to see what you do with this project

The reaper should have been a bit smaller in my opinion but good trialer a neat idea is that if there was a movie it should the events of the timeline In order we start with the arcetects trying to find a cure for kharra and at the end of there segment the sea dragon attacks the facility and destroys it releasing the khara on the planet the next segment would be about Reilly and the other crew geting killed and the The movie starts off he trys to go to the Agoura early buts encater a reaper for the first time then starts to build his base and then go's to the floating island and we get flash backs on the desigti crew on the island and time we visit a despite base there will be a flash back
Eventually he explore alot and makes a bigger base the cyclops and scans a bunch of stuf and does the story but at the grand finaly of the film he's kil the reaper that has taken 3 of his seamoths thats all I have for now maybe I'll Write a full script another day

if you're gonna make a subnautica movie it gotta use the game's assets or something higher quality, not some weird sketchfab looking model (I'm busy making Trailmakers: Airborne - The Movie currently, so I won't be making the subnautica movie even if you asked me to)

This should be the first calling for some big popular group a people to calm together to make a Subnautica Movie. I can imagine you wouldn't do that just because, well, I can tell this took awhile (which by the way, it looks great!), but this needs to go to some company that does have the capability, money, and honestly, motivation to make this into a real movie. I mean, I've been thinking about how cool it would be if there was a Subnautica Movie based off of the game (kinda like how there's the FNaF game, and then the new movie), but I don't think we've been this close to actually having a movie - although there's also Digital Dave who made some really awesome animated Subnautica clips, and I think if you were to combine those with this teaser, we could have the very beginnings of a movie in the making! This is really just ideas jumping right out of my head at this moment, but I just thought it'd be really cool. (I know there was another YouTuber that made a clip or two of some Subnautica terrain with Unreal Engine 5, but I don't remember off the top of my mind who that is, but they should also be part of that team if we wanted to build a Subnautica movie developers team or something like that. I dunno, we just need some sort of movement to actually get more people thinking about a Subnautica movie, and awesome it could turn out!)

I'm gonna be honest there's a lot of room for improvement and there's scenes like 0:36 that just aren't textured or have any decoration/detail, same with the cyclops interior, the seamoth model is also quite bad, I know you can't exactly rip the models from the game but it could be better is all i'm saying
