Shotgun mics are an everyday staple for YouTubers & content creators. The Deity D3 pro impressed me in terms of its' audio quality, build, and battery.

I missed it in the video but the battery lasts up to 51 hours on one charge.

Joey, thanks. Very useful information as I started to investigate shotgun mic options for my setup. Also, in another video could you elaborate on the processing you do in Final Cut Pro. Thanks again.

Nice mic, it is one of my Deity mics, the other being the S-Mic 2S, that I use on the FX30 as it has an XLR connector. The V-Mic D3 Pro is what I tended to use when I take the Z8 out but, I recently lost the foam and have to look for another cover, in the meantime the RODE Wireless Pro is the main mic. I am also thinking abut the Sennheiser MKE 400, which is more of a vlogging mic, I've seen some reviews and like the sound from it. The MKE 600 is a standard long shotgun mic, which can be plugged into a 3.5mm port with Sennheiser's XLR to 3.5mm cable is another option I am considering, or just be used as a standard XLR mic on an audio interface or cameras (Sony FX30, in my case) that supports it.
