Important Notes:

1. Strongest monster has to be the one you want to level
2. 3 The Wicked Worm Beast is a must. Obtain from Bakura or by reincarnating Sorcerer of the Doomed
3. Two equips for monster to level up of choice
4. All weak monsters must not be able to fuse with Worm Beast
5. Worm Beast must be 2nd strongest monster in the deck

Dark Magician rank up tests with full strategy duel. +# is number of duels to next rank up.

+1 duel = 0 to 1LT - up 2 ranks
+1 duel = 1LT to CPT - up 1 rank
+1 duel = CPT to MAJ - up 1 rank
+1 duel = MAJ to LTC - up 1 rank

Guys add 2-3 monster reborns so you can get 2 extra copies of the ranking monster and make the EXP x6 instead of x4.

depending on the rank, first few ranks u r guaranteed a whole 1 or 2 ranks everytime u do this method and after doing it up to 5x more duels will be required per rank reaching round 6-7 per rank up close to the max monster rank

no, because hane hane returns to deck the moment is flipped w/o dying in battle so your monster doesn't kill it therefore it does not gain any xp

you can get the head, and one of the legs through codes, the rest of the pieces are just from lucky reincarnations or lining up 3 of the same card in the slot machine after winning a duel.

u must make sure u have 3 worm beasts, it must be the 2nd strongest monster after the one you trying to rank up. These are the 2 factors that cause the opp. to not play anything else.

Try it w/o the lawbooks, just fill with nonfusable monsters

Reincarnation is an ability you receive after completely five duels, whether or not they were won. After you've passed through 5 duels you may reincarnate any current card you have. What it does it deletes that card, but in return you gain 3 additional cards. To get Exodia pieces, try reincarnating low level cards. For example, fake trap (on rare occasions), or low level monster cards.

If you fail to get one off reincarnation, go back to the title without saving to try again. ^^

It's related to what memory card you have in slot 2, if you have a PS1 memory card with Forbidden Memories on it, you get to face another deck master with an Exodia deck leader.

thx man, and yeah. Its lke a guaranteed rank per duel at mid levels, higher levels prolly require 2-3 duels per rank up

You should add like two Monster Reborn- Cards or something so if you destroy the enemies monster you want to rank up you can revive it twice and got it 6 times on the field instead of 4 times.

If you level up "Dark Plant" enough, it becomes a fricken good DL like Bakura's, I got a Dark Plant as my deck leader and I almost never lose.

Hey underlordtico. My Great Mammoth of Goldfine has a ranking of 3 stars and 3 lines (I can't remember what it's called). I always have one as my deck leader and 5 of them adjacent to him during a custom duel. After doing this about 2 times, it's not being promoted anymore. Do you know how long it will take for him to be promoted ?

its kinda rare to get and no, im sure no matter how strong the monster you kill is you still get the same amount of xp
