Bro can just make his own platforms
Can make an anvil to stand on lava
And if he needs a side burst of speed into an extra jump, minecart got him covered
He can even use tnt to blow himself up for more height
Steve dont even need his up special to win

The mystic cave zone music from Sonic 2 is giving me times of how hard that level is

Dedede could get further if you went left and down before up-b for a better angle where he doesn't bonk, then go into the slow fall. Might not make it still, but it'd be closer

I think Dedede can do stage 5 but I'm not sure. There's a trick to decently increasing the horizontal distance of his Up+B by performing a gordo throw in the opposite direction, I just don't know if theres quite enough room for that here.
