Why does everyone think that “ありがと (arigato)” is two words “Ari” and “gato”?! Like, guys, it’s one word! Japanese has words that are just one word, but translates to a phrase/multiple words in English! For example: またあした or mataashita (pronounced ma-ta-ah(hold out ah sound) sh-ta) translates to see you tomorrow















If you’re gonna hate on a language or just be flat out stupid when talking about it, at least know a little bit about the language first!
